Care Guide - Swimming Caps
A little care after each swim helps your swimming cap last longer and stay comfortable to wear.
Rinse after use
Rinse your swim cap in cool, fresh water after every swim to remove chlorine, salt and other pool chemicals. Leaving residue on the cap can weaken the material over time.
Dry thoroughly
Allow the cap to air dry fully before storing it. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators and other heat sources, as heat can cause silicone or latex to degrade.
Use talcum powder
Lightly dust the inside of the dry cap with talcum powder to help absorb moisture and stop it sticking to itself. This also makes the cap easier to put on and take off.
Store properly
Keep your swim cap in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight. Avoid sharp folds or creases, as these can weaken the material and lead to tears.
